A fine English George III burled walnut work table, c. 1800. The two-part top with vigourously grained wood opens to a writing surface with a fabric lining. The center surface opens to provide an adjustable reading surface. The case is fitted with two faux drawers on one side & a single drawer on the other. The legs are squared & tapered & over brass casters. Condition is very good with a rich color & patina. Circa: 1800.
