The larger rock represent the husband & the smaller one represents the wife, both sacred rock are connected by a shimenawa rope which acts as the division between the spiritual & earthly realms. The shimenawa rope is replaced three times a year during a special ceremony. The photograph is a part of an ongoing project called Silence, (Doing impossible catching silence). Photographed with medium format 6x6 Hasselblad analog camera. All works are printed using Epson Stylus Pro 9900 Printer & Ultrachrome® HDR inks on professional glossy photo paper with small white border to make mounting & framing easy.
