Description
Handmade 50s style very full skirt in a rich green shade with a border print of colourful leafy plants in red, brown, yellow & rusty orange. Wide snugly fitted waistband & full fit, sewn in wide pleats. Not quite full circle, but very full. Fabric is a cotton blend, slightly thicker than dress weight, so holds the shape really beautifully over a petticoat. Back nylon zipper to fasten & handsewn hooks & eyes to the waistband. No labels. Great 50s inspired cut & style, but made later, possibly 80s era, but hard to say exactly as it is handmade. Skirt is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale. SIZE The skirt is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a xx. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
