Dish is hand painted with glass enamels & adorned on the edges flower pattern millefiori pieces in red, pink & white colorways. The edges of the dish is irregular as millefiori pieces added one by one & fused as relief. This beautiful small dish will be a perfect wall decor object or a centerpiece in any eclectic room setting. Dish is made with one layer white glass & murrini glass flowers which has 3mm thickness & the dish measures; cm / 15 cm x 11 cm x 2 cm in / 5.9" x 4.3" x 0.7" Unique vessel. Glass Raw Material We Use : Glass raw materials we use for producing the platters are mainly large glass sheets & flowers made of glass called Murrini/Millefiori are produced in the furnaces of Murano Island, Venice & these materials are also entirely handmade, Small marks & irregularities are only to consider as their unique character & proves their exculsivity. Murrine , millefiori pieces, practically these are tiny flowers made of coloured glass, which are adorning glass platters, are % 100 handmade. These glass flowers are still made only in the furnaces of Murano in the hands of master glass craftsmens with unique ancient craft methods considering the numerous design & styles available. Some of the Murrine / Millefiori rod designs are one off, some varies with time which proves that Murrines are collectible glass artefacts. How to Care Murrini Glass Vessels : Vessels made entirely with murrine pieces are only for decorative use. Please handwash with delicate, natural soaps which has no aggressive nature.
