'Scribbled Angelfish' is an original, limited edition artwork by artist, Amy West. The scribbled angelfish derives its name from the distinctive, wavy-blue lines over their bodies. These fish can be found from Western Australia, around the Northern Australian coastline & down into South-East Queensland. They grow to a maximum length of 28cm. This design is made from layering three separately carved lino blocks to create one artwork. The lino blocks are hand-printed on luxurious 250gsm Stonehenge paper, using oiled-based Cranfield Caligo ink. Each artwork includes a title, limited edition number & signature of the artist in pencil. The paper size of this artwork measures approximately 36 x 28cm (14 x 11in), with the printed area being 32 x 24cm (w x h). As each artwork has four hand-torn deckle edges, the size of the paper can vary slightly. Limited edition of 50 (two colourways available). Please note that due to their handmade nature, there may be minor differences between artworks. This is part of the charm of printmaking & makes every artwork unique. The colours you see on screen may also look slightly different in real life. The artwork is sold unmounted & unframed so that you can choose how best to display it.
