We're no stranger to flooding here in Houston, so in the spirit of our Endless Monsoon series, we decided to make a print about the flooding we so often experience. This print was actually created a few short months before hurricane Harvey caused unprecedented flooding in Houston, & flooded our studio to boot. The riso we use survived, & now we're back to a sense of normalcy, though maybe a little more wary when we hear particularly heavy rain... This open edition was first illustrated & then translated into a riso print. All of our risograph prints are produced by hand & cut by hand in our shop. Print Info: -Measures 16" x 11". -Cream67# / 147gsm Vellum Bristol Paper -Printed with Green, Flat Gold, & Black soy based riso inks Ships flat & securely sandwiched between sheets of corrugated cardboard, in a plastic bag. Risograph printing is known for its charming lack of registration. We curate editions before shipping, but each print can vary slightly with alignment of colors.
