"Thistle Hare" was inspired by the late 19th. century arts & crafts movement, especially by William Morris & his striking wall papers & textile designs. "Thistle Hare" has a dynamic composition, & features an organic abundance of stylized thistles & a jackrabbit on the move. "Thistle Hare" was carved by hand in lino, inked by hand & handpulled on an etching press. It is available in two editions: gold Cranfield Traditional ink, on a beautiful dark blue, laid pastel paper, & a classic black on white Somerset Satin paper. Each print is an unique & original artwork, & is signed & numbered by the artist. The paper blue paper measures approx. 25 x 32 cm, & the white paper approx. 21 x 30 cm (corresponding to an A4).
