Description
This is a vintage sterling silver & green stone tie tack. A bright kelly green round stone flecked with black spots is set in a sterling silver mid century modern setting. The stone is possibly turquiose or jasper. The back of the tie tack is marked "St 925". The tie tack has a clutch with a bar to secure to a buttonhole. It is possible that the clutch is not original to the tie tack, as it appears to be a slightly different colored metal & is not marked as sterling silver, but is untested & unknown. Nevertheless, the tie tack is striking & would make a wonderful Father's day gift! CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. There is a bit of tarnish that can be removed by the customer if desired.
