This piece was inspired by the room in John Singer Sargent's beautiful painting "The Dinner Table at Night (A Glass of Claret)" She waited, lonely in the small dark restaurant, a glass of claret her only company. Had she been stood up? Had they agreed on 10 or 11? Her mind began to play tricks on her as her claret disappeared. She would wait 10 more minutes & then she would leave while she still had some pride left. She would not wait all night for this rabbit. The print looks very much like an original watercolor. Print will come signed & dated by me ( the artist ), & packed in a clear cello sleeve with backer board to avoid bending in transit. 11 x 17" & 13 x 19" size will come rolled in a tube Artwork Care: All work on paper is fragile.
