Hello, dear friends! My name is Natalia & I'm Ukrainian Pysanky Master Artist with more than 20 years of experience. All pysanky here in my shop are made by me. If you have any questions, please, don't hesitate to ask, will be very happy to answer you! The word pysanka comes from Ukrainian word pysaty (to write in English), because they aren't painted on, but written with beeswax. All of the pysanky have been emptied out, washed out & thermally processed. This Ukrainian pysanka on Goose Egg with traditional old symbols is named infinity. There is a spiral design on this egg, which means endless life & progress, that's why I decided to name it infinity. Shortly about the technology: Step 1. I draw with the pencil, then with wax as usual eggs. Step 2. Then put the egg in acid: the process of etching. Step 3. After this I make holes according to the design with mini drill.
