Description
This circle skirt is made of beautiful quality quilted cotton sateen in gold with burnt oranges, tans, browns, & greens. The reverse of the fabric is black, & there is batting between the layers. There is a side metal zipper, along with two sets of hooks & loops at the waist. There are pockets hidden in both side seams. Dating from the 1950s, the skirt is labeled Ilene Ricky. Go ahead, give it a spin! Who could resist? CONDITION: Very, very good. There are a few small stretches of the quilt stitching missing, an example shown in the next to last photo. There's not much of that, & it's not obvious. The zipper was missing one tooth at the bottom & had gotten derailed. I got it back on track & sewed over just the very bottom of the zipper to keep it from coming apart again. Also, there is some damage to the zipper plackets at the bottom of the zipper. These issues are shown in the final photo. Finally, there is no belt with the skirt. SIZE: XS, about a US size 2. The waistband has two sets of hooks & loops, & you could use one set to expand the waist measure a little (about 3/4").
