Chromatographic Garden Landscape - a framed colourful drawing on Japanese paper. from a series of chromatographic drawings using layers of black & multi colour marker pens on Japanese paper. This is an experimental process, I never know the result & whether the hours spent on drawing have been wasted. Once the inks start to bleed & travel, they create this abstract landscape revealing the brighter colours above the horizon line. The work is float mounted onto Stonehenge paper & framed in an altered commercial white frame. I constructed the interior to add shadow box walls to match the back of the artwork. Signed & dated by me on the lower right. Ready to hang.
