Silk Ribbons Silk ribbon. Bias cut silk ribbon with raw edges. Taupe hand-dyed silk habotai ribbon. This listing is for 1- 6 yards of ribbon, with or without a wooden bobbin (please select length & bobbin requirement from the drop-down menu) of a mid brown taupe ribbon in a choice of five widths. The ribbon is 100% pure silkand is bias cut which ensures it drapes beautifully , has natural flow & vitality & is perfect for wedding bouquets & all wedding styling. Over time the rawedges will fray naturally. There is a seam every two to three yards & the raw unfinished edges will naturally soften with wear. The seams are finished with silk thread & just a 1/8" overlap to help create a seamless appearance throughout the spools. As the silk is a wholly organic & natural product & is all hand-dyed there may be some unavoidable shrinkage of the fibres during the dyeing process. Measurements stated in the listing are taken before the dyeing process. I make every attempt to ensure the ribbon is colourfast , however some pigment residue may remain so please avoid getting wet when in use . Ribbons can be ironed on a warm/medium hot temperature. As the ribbons are hand-dyed there may be marbling & slight colour variations along the lengths. I send all my ribbon first class signed for in the UK & tracked & signed for elsewhere.
