There's a tree at the bottom of my garden full of noisy magpies. I've always enjoyed the little poem about magpies & the lovely idea that two of them bring you luck. So I made some drawings from the magpies & then a painting. From the painting came the design for a lino print which has been very popular. You can see me working on my prints in the photos. After that I used one of the lino prints as a design for a card. It's been used for varied occasions & sent to many different people. The card is litho printed on 400g semi gloss art board. The envelope is either brown kraft paper or gold which complements the design. The C6 card ( 105mmx148mm ) is left blank for your personal message & comes wrapped & protected in a cellophane wrapping. These cards are used for varied occasions & sent to adults & children alike.
