Keep right on trend for this season with this handmade designer Scottish beret in pure wool Harris tweed from the Scottish Isles. Suits men & women both. There are two gorgeous colour ways to choose from in pale blue herringbone, 'sea & sand' which has a muted yellow detail & 'sea & sky' which has the same blue with a silver grey detail instead. I've called this particular beret 'ZUTtam' as it is inspired by classic Scottish Tam O Shanter & as such is the perfect style for warmth & comfort this winter. The luxurious fabric is still traditionally woven on the Isle of Harris & I have lined it for extra comfort in 100% cotton & faced the band with soft cotton moleskin to guard against itchiness. Wear it with a denim chore jacket for an urban fashionista look or a long 20s style, narrow overcoat for more glamorous appeal. I find it perfect for every day & excellent for bad hair days! I always wear a beret or tam indoors in the winter when it is ideal for keeping me warm & my hair back as I am designing & sewing in my studio. The ZUTtam style has a wideish band to keep it secure whilst the crown has more than enough room to comfortably accommodate long hair when tucked inside.
