The intricate tightly patterned new catkins on a young Hazel tree have inspired this limited edition, original hand printed piece of art. The plants in & around my own garden are inspiring this latest body of work. I'm fascinated by the tiny details of the everyday & common place things that we so easily overlook. The idea that I can find such inspiration right on my doorstep is in turn leading time noticing more & more. This print was designed & hand printed by myself using silkscreen, block print & monoprinting techniques. Due to the different printing methods used to create this piece I have printed just a small number of these. - Paper size: 26cm x 26cm - Printed on White, Acid free, 180 paper - All prints are sold unframed. Ink colours: Rich yellow ochre, dusky pink with black line work. All of my prints are handmade limited edition monoprints, signed & numbered by me. The beauty of this hand printed medium especially the monoprinted linework is in its spontaneity & the characteristic of this method is that no two prints are alike. Please note that due to the nature of both hand printed processes there may be slight variations to each print. The inks used in this print are water based & are mixed by me in my studio in Wiltshire. This print was made with much love for both the printing process that I use & the end result. It will be carefully packaged in & sandwiched between layers of strong board before being flat wrapped for posting.
