We cast our handmade "Friend-ship" rebus intaglio signet ring in solid sterling silver after an antique Georgian intaglio seal ring in my collection. A rebus is a visual puzzle or pun, where pictures are used to represent words; in this case the word "friend" is carved above a frigate in full sail to indicate the sentiment. I think of this as the perfect piece to represent the type of bond that can, & likely has, weathered many types of storms, only to emerge stronger & more faithfully devoted. It's smooth & easy to wear, with a satisfying weight on the finger; as comfortable as time spent with a close friend. Measuring approximately 3/4" north to south at the face, tapering to 2.74 mm by the center back of the band. Made in sizes 4-11; cast in sterling silver, 10k yellow or 10k rose gold, & patinaed in our special formula to bring out the details. Turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks.
