These charming love birds are handmade with stoneware clay & perched on a clay nest. After the first kiln firing, I glaze them with a beautiful shiny cornflower blue glaze & fire them again to a very high temperature. The nest is finished in a natural matte brown. I designed these nuzzling birds to be used as a romantic wedding cake topper & they look very elegant when surrounded with flowers. After the celebration this topper can become part of your home decor & will be a keepsake reminder of your special day. This ceramic sculpture measures 5 inches in width X 3 inches in height. The attached nest has a diameter of 3.75 inches. I like to customize this pair by engraving your names & wedding date on the underside of the nest.
