Silk Ribbons Silk ribbon. Bias cut silk ribbon with raw edges. Hand-dyed silk habotai ribbon. This listing is for 1 - 6 yards of ribbon, with or without a wooden bobbin (please select length & bobbin requirement from the drop-down menu) of white silk ribbon in a choice of widths. This ribbon is naturally dyed. The ribbon is not pure white but a beautiful pearly white shade The ribbon is 100% pure silkand is bias cut which ensures it drapes beautifully , has natural flow & vitality & is perfect for wedding bouquets & all wedding styling. Over time the rawedges will fray naturally. There is a seam every two to three yards & the raw unfinished edges will naturally soften with wear. The seams are finished with silk thread & just a 1/8" overlap to help create a seamless appearance throughout the spools. As the silk is a wholly natural product & is all hand-dyed there may be some unavoidable shrinkage of the fibres during the dyeing process. Measurements stated in the listing are taken before the dyeing process.. The ribbon is colourfast in cold & warm water. if you do decide to wash please note that you should only use a pH neutral detergent on these ribbons & only if necessary . Ribbons can be ironed on a warm/medium hot temperature. As the ribbons are hand-dyed there may be marbling & slight colour variations along the lengths.
