Paper Ball of Stars No10 - Green Sculptural art objects made from many squares of green artist's paper, folded into star shapes & dipped into wax before stitching all the individual pieces together to form a ball. They come as shown, sitting on brass pedestals that have been altered with mounting materials to keep the balls in place. The brass is vintage & has patina.Please enjoy the "beauty in imperfection" aspect of this piece. They are not perfect spheres from all angles no matter how hard I strive to create the perfect globe... alas made by my human hands. Ships in a box with sufficient packing materials to keep it safe. These origami kusudama balls are from a series I have been working on using thicker artist's colour papers. The wax process deepens the colour of the paper & gives it a subtle luster. When you hold the ball in your hands it has an interesting rattling sound.
