Over 200 sold! Why play such a fun game on a boring board? This custom made board has an elegant swooped top, angled sides, & dovetail ends. The best feature has to be the sliding dovetail end which reveals storage space for the cards & pegs. A magnet holds the end in place when closed. The board comes in a combination of a figured maple playing surface with cherry trim. The highlights of figured maple change depending on the viewing angle & light source, so the wood appears to shimmer as you look at it. Each board's grain pattern is different, but as I hand pick all of the wood, I can promise you a great looking board. The board is roughly 18" x 5" x 2" & comes with nine metal pegs, game rules, & felt pads for the bottom of the board. Cards not included. You have a choice of standard pegs or tall pegs. The standard pegs are 1-1/8" & the tall pegs are 1-1/2". Both sit 5/16" deep into the holes. Be the envy of your cribbage-playing friends, or give as a unique gift! PS: Why no skunk line? When I took the class to build my steel string acoustic guitar & it came time to put on the fret markers, we were told a little story. in classical guitar (nylon strings) construction, it's tradition to not include fret markers. Why? Because as a trained classical guitarist, you should be good enough to not need them. It's with that mindset that I do not include a skunk line. Anybody who is good enough to play on a board of this caliber should know where the skunk line is.
