Description
I am constantly inspired by the designers & artists of the 1950's & 1960's. I love their use of bold geometric shapes & fine lines, & I find that this aesthetic translates well into fabric & stitch. The pendant is made from Off White linen & is fully interfaced to provide structure. I have bound the edges using embroidery threads in Burnt Orange & Blush. This is suspended beneath a hammered brass bar & hung from a chain of gold vermeil (sterling silver plated with 18ct gold). I have enamelled the brass bar to prevent tarnishing. All findings are 18ct gold vermeil. The pendant measures 70x40mm & the chain is 22" long trace chain. Craven Necklace Burnt Orange & Blush
