3d printed geometric earrings made in eco friendly plastic; gift for architect, designer, architecture, math or geometry teacher, design student; c shaped young & minimal style; the material is called PLA & is obtained from corn starch, sustainable. Both material & printing process are highly sustainables & eco friendly: each object is produced one at a time using a low energy consumption 3d printer. These earrings are nice to look at & at the touch & they're very light. Metal hooks are Nickel free - hypoallergenic - & are provided of rubber caps/holders. Design is minimal & exclusive. Each earring is 0,9 inches x 0,9 inches x 0,3 inches & is made of white PLA (Polylactic acid) 3d printed with Fused deposition modeling (FDM). FDM works on an "additive" principle by laying down material in layers; a plastic filament is unwound from a coil & supplies material to produce a solid & resistent object. All our objects are digitally handmade. "Digitally handmade" means we produce each object "one at a time" using innovative processes (3d modeling software & 3d printing) with the same care & attention of traditionally handmade items. Processes & tools we use are eco friendly & sustainable (low energy consumption processes & recyclable or biodegradable materials). We send every item gift-wrapped, ready to be a present; inside the packet you'll find a flyer with a brief description of the 3d printing process.
