The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states & empires against the raids & invasions of various neighbors. Several walls were being built as early as the 7th century & later joined together & made bigger & stronger, are now collectively referred to as the Great Wall. Archaeological surveys show that the entire wall with all of its branches measure out to be 21,196 km (13,171 mi). This kit comes with 3 towers (two end towers & one middle tower) & 2 wall segments. PRODUCT INFORMATION DIMENSIONS (when assembled) - tower 3 x 3 x 3,7 (h) inches / 7,5 x 7,5 x 9,5 cm. Each wall segment is 7 inches / 18 cm long & 3 inches / 7,5 cm high. Total length of the basic wall is 20,5 inches or 52 cm. COLORS - antique & olive, both pearlescent papers have a slightly shiny metallic overcoat LEVEL - intermediate ASSEMBLY TIME - at least 3 hours Choose between: PRINTED KIT - this model is delivered unassembled, in a flat kit with all the necessary details printed on 6 sturdy A4 size paper sheets. You will need to cut, fold & glue the details according to the set-up instructions. PRE-CUT KIT - this model is delivered unassembled, in a flat kit with all the necessary details pre-cut on 6 sturdy A4 size paper sheets. You will need to fold & glue the details according to the set-up instructions. Things which are not included, but you'll need in order to assemble the model: time & patience, white glue (PVA). A pointed stylus, tweezers & scissors might be helpful. As a general rule, we recommend our PaperLandmarks kits for anyone from age 14 as building work requires patience, advanced motor skills & ability to read assembly diagrams & instructions.
