Aaron is a Marine Corps combat veteran turned professional woodturner & woodworker who has an incredible eye for detail & beauty. His years of experience in woodworking & lamp making yield the extraordinary, high quality lamps we have come to expect from Thomas Fine Woodworks. This lamp is turned by hand by Aaron on a wood lathe from a solid piece of Maple wood. The wood for this lamp is locally sourced & ethically harvested in a sustainable manner. Because of Aaron's profound love for his medium it is exceedingly important to him that these resources exist for future generations & employs a philosophy of seven generation stewardship. The wooden body of the lamp is dyed black with a water soluble wood dye. All of the hardware on this lamp is brightly polished nickel hardware. The lamp shade is a platinum gray dupioni with chrome finished fitter.
