It was a large vessel used for mixing wine & water symposium in greek. During the banquet the craters were placed at the center of the room were filled with wine, to which water was added to dilute & lower the alcohol content. It presents a rounded body, with short handles for the transport & a large mouth. Each object is identified by a color other than the shape. To break the colored surface there are black lines that create fantastic & stylish designs. Remember also that the raku pottery is porous than the other presenting a great absorbing power. Then: Be careful not to spill liquid colored or greasy. Pay attention to its most fine & delicate. Clean only with neutral detergents & delicate, preferably natural (such as water & Marseilles soap) in order to avoid altering its quality.
