Los Angeles Skyline Sterling Silver Necklace, Etched with the Iconic Griffith Observatory SIZE: 16", 18", or 20" length sterling chain. Model is wearing the 16" length. Lobster clasp. Message me if you would like a different length chain, & I'm happy to customize. Pendant is about 1.25" wide. PRODUCT INFO & PROCESS: I acid-etched this view of L.A.'s famous Griffith Observatory using ferric chloride & different resists, onto a copper rectangle. After cleaning & finishing the prototype, I made a mold so I can now offer this piece in any metal you like! This listing is for a solid sterling pendant. After I file, sand & finish the finished casting, I oxidize the etching so it it has a nice contrast in the image. CARE: Clean with included silver polishing cloth, or your choice of commercial silver cloth. This way you can keep the oxidation just inside the etching. CUSTOMIZATION: Would you like a special message on the back? Machine engraving is available for $14, up to 10 characters. You can select the engraving option at checkout, then leave a "note to seller" with the message you would like. If you'd like a longer engraving, please convo me for a quote.
