Rodney Mullen - This is an image of professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen, one of the most talented skaters to ever step on a skateboard. Rodney Mullen brought the Ollie to the street skating along with many of the flip tricks you see in skating today. This is a photo I shot in 1985 at the Eurocana Skate Camp in Hagernas, Sweden. I took the train & Ferry from Amsterdam to Stockholm & met up with Hawk, Mountain, Welinder & Rodney for a few days of skate camp. You don't see photos of Rodney skating ramps that much, but he is a ripper on many surfaces. Don't ask me why my shades are in the photo. See the sun burning through the film frame in the upper left? That's real, not Photoshopped. Shot this with my Nikon FM2, a 16mm fisheye & Tri-X film. Two sizes 12X16 which is 11X15 approx size of image & 18X24 which is 16 x 22 inch approximate image size on 18 x 24 inch Fuji Crystal Archive Lustre (Between glossy & matte). I choose Lustre over glossy finish - it looks way better. (Gray borders frame the image only on Etsy. The real print is rectangular & has a white border all around.) Photo is made to order & signed by me in black Micron archival pen in the lower right & with title of photo in lower left in the white border & shipped in a thick as you know what cardboard tube.
