This versatile piece allows you to use it as a portable folding stool as well as a little end/side table. It is light to transport & easy to store away. Our Ace's top is entirely made with recycled oak from discarded, used wine barrels & set on a collapsible frame that easily folds for convenient storage. Our Ace is a practical little helper that may become handy in any room of the house, conveniently adding an extra seat or serving as a little table whenever needed. Ace is a perfect combination of sturdiness, functionality & inimitable style. This piece features a round seat/top made with recycled wine barrel oak. The underside of the top is stained with the red wine previously held in the barrel & complemented with a rich 'cherry chocolate' finish, while the upper side is finished with the color of your choice. The frame is black. Customization only applies to upper side. On some pieces it's still possible to see the branded trademark from the cooperage & metal tag, which is going to be left attached unless requested otherwise. Markings are random & vary for each piece. Please note that the piece featured in our listing is for reference only; as each item is unique & made to order, variations are to be expected. Ace is 18" high, as any standard seat, & 14 1/2" in diameter at the top. The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create. Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave. As no barrel band is the same, each piece might show natural imperfections, slight variations in color, grain & dimensions, all adding to the uniqueness of every item. Each one is individually handcrafted, sanded back to its original wood & creatively, skillfully reinvented.
