The "Pebbles" has very clean & elegant lines. The tall silhouette differs quite dramatically depending on what angle you look view it from. it's asymetrical & sculptural quality is emphasized by the surface decoration of the "pebbles". These are formed out of wool felt with the same technique that is used for making the main body of the hat. A touch of whimsy exists inside the hat as it is lined with black dupioni silk with white hand embroidered silhouettes of the pebbles to echo the exterior (convo us for a photo of the inside if you are interested). Details: This hat & the pebbles are made of wool felt. We heat, steam, & form it them over original hat blocks which are designed & carved by us. The hat is is edged with wire which is hand stitched to offer stability. The velvet trim is also completely hand stitched. The entire hat is lined in silk. The tipsy will fit an average 22 1/2" to large 231/2 head size. It will come in a hat box for safe storage & will be additionally packaged within another box for shipping.
