This is a lovely ceramic song birdhouse. This hanger birdhouse is perfect for your outdoor garden or yard. The small songbirds will love to build a nest & make a home in this decorative house! It is made from deep-brown stoneware clay & decorated in purple & green that mingle together. The bottom has a small water drainage hole. Also, small holes are under the roofline for venting & keeping the inside cool & comfortable. A strong nylon cord is wrapped around the knob on top for secure hanging. Approximately measuring, 4 1/4 inches high by 4 inches wide & 1 1/2 inches for the opening. It is food-safe & dishwasher-safe. The pottery is hand-thrown on a potter's wheel, trimmed, & glazed by me (Pam Paul). My studio is in Upstate New York where I create all my pieces.
