The artwork serves as a visual meditation on Kew Gardens. The painting invites viewers to reflect on their search for meaning in an increasingly fragmented world. The central composition is awash with muted tones, reminiscent of a dreary day where the sunlight struggles to pierce through the thick canopy of foliage. The atmosphere is depicted as heavy with a sense of melancholy, with each figure to carry the weight of their own solitude.
