Here is a lovely white with palest seafoam stripe around the base Salt Pig hand thrown by me with a cute little bamboo spoon & a 75g pot of Cornish Sea Salt! This particular salt pig is about 4"/9.5cm high & 3"/7.5cm wide. The opening is 2"/5cm across. The spoon is made from sustainable bamboo & measures 4"/10cm long. Gift box measures 9"/ 23cm by 5" / 13cm by 5" / 13cm This Salt Pig is a perfect size for keeping some tasty sea salt just next to your range/cooker for easy reach when whizzing up all your culinary delights! As with all my pots they are thrown on my wheel from stoneware clay, left to dry for a few days, bisque fired to 1005 degrees centigrade over 24 hours, glazed with handmade glaze & refired up to 1240 degrees centigrade for another 24 hours. Fine for dishwasher use. My initials are clearly stamped on the side of this pig along with 'Cornwall' which is where I live & make pots.
