Description
This handmade wooden stirring spoon carved from curly Maple wood has an egg shaped bowl. It is 14 inches long & the shallow bowl is 2 3/4 inches wide. Maple wood is strong & durable & holds up well to daily use. This Maple has some curly figure throughout. Maple tends to darken a little to a golden honey color except for along the front of the bowl where it becomes a warm brown. This spoon is finished & ready to ship & you will receive the one pictured. Treated with beeswax & mineral oil mixture. I will include a maintenance kit with instructions & the recipe for how to make the beeswax & mineral oil mixture or you can use Olive Oil or Walnut Oil if you like. Care is easy. Wash in hot, soapy water & towel dry. Apply new oil as often as you like. If treated with oil or our oil & beeswax mixture often your tool will age gracefully & take on a beautiful patina.
