You will need special brushes. & even better - a set of brushes made of cat's hair for painting in the Petrykiv painting technique. I make the brushes myself. Is it handmade. I make them qualitatively, as if for myself. I have been drawing in this technique for more than 15 years. You can find out the size of the brushes by the colors of the ribbons: - blue - larger, thicker & larger brush for larger details - yellow - smaller, shorter & thinner brush for smaller details The material from which the brushes are made: Bamboo wood, cat fur, threads, several types of waterproof glue. The length of the brush is +-17 cm. The thickness of the brush is 4 mm. Brushes are fragile, but you can create real masterpieces with them! Excess hair will fall out. Basic rules: - Do not mix the paint with a brush - Do not leave the brush in water - Do not leave the brush in the paint - After finishing work, rinse the brush in water & wipe it lightly with a napkin. If you paint with acrylic paint, be careful, it dries quickly & spoils the brush. It is better to use gouache paints. If you follow these simple rules, your cat's brushes will last you a long time.
