This mug was thrown on the wheel with stoneware clay, trimmed, painted, hand carved, bisque fired, glazed, & fired to cone 6. The daffodil carvings are exposed clay & have a textured feel. The exposed clay is fully vitrified & also treated with liquid quartz to repel water. Size: approximately 5 inches tall x 3 3/8 inches wide (not including the handle) Weight: 0.9 lbs Capacity: 18 fl oz This item is food safe, microwave safe, & dishwasher safe, however washing by hand is always recommended to extend the life of handmade pottery & ceramics. With handmade pottery, there might be some 'imperfections' like marks, discoloration, or warping. Any bottom imperfections are cosmetic only, they are all sanded to be smooth on surfaces.
