Description
This is an original, fully functional British military WW2 issue Waltham stopwatch. Rare find. Made in US January 1944 for the British army. The back is marked with a broad-arrow F combination 163 & 1/5th Sec T.P. The movement is signed "Waltham, USA, 16-43 TC, Nine Jewels" & number 31606912. The watch is a 9 jewel, 60 second stopwatch. The dial is divided into 60 seconds with 0,2 second graduations & has 30 minute registry. Base metal open face case, which has a snap on inner, screw on back & bezel. Measures approximately Diameter: 2" (5.1 cm) Height: 2.46" (6.2 cm) Thickness: 0.63" (1.6 cm) Condition: Used. in working order, in very good vintage condition. This stopwatch winds up, start, stop, resets, & runs correctly. Very well preserved. Only liht scratches on the glas & back cover (see photos).
