The wood frames are made with oak, & the backrests are made with teak. These beautiful color contrasts, especially in the butterfly joints, are a signature feature of Wegner's work. They all have been newly refinished & have new paper cord seats. Overall, they are all in great vintage condition. Hans J. Wegner is recognized worldwide as "the Master of the Chair" & designed more than 500 chairs. A number of museums feature his furniture in their collections.
