RARE & very collectible bluebird ironstone!! Bluebirds are getting harder to find, especially with all the birds still legible & intact. This piece includes its original lid. It is wonderful for any ironstone collector. For farmhouse, cottage or primitive aesthetics! It has a ton of incredible staining & crazing all over, inside & out! The lid is not as stained as the tureen itself. The bottom is marked :: Albright China which was an American Ironstone company & dates to the 1920's, making it over 100 years old! Despite its age & history, there are no chips or breaks! There is one small hairline by the handle. It does not impact the structure. Approx.
