Traditional ceramic soup bowl with two handles made by Alejandro, a potter living near Cáceres, Spain. These soup bowls held up to 500 ml or 17 oz & are perfect for broths, soups, side dishes or breakfast bowls This breakfast bowl or mug was made in a so-called "Pottery village" where in the XIX century there were 60 different pottery houses & factories but nowadays there are only 3. Alejandro is a fifth-generation potter & continues using his family decorative style called "mosca" or "fly" along with the "red" or "net", he twisted the tradition a little bit & introduced more eye-catching colours making these ceramics uncommon & unique pieces. Each one is different, which is the funniest part. These bowls or mugs were hand wheeled, dipped in white, & hand-painted in very vivid colors, using geometrical, floral, & mosca patterns. Great for adding some magic to your breakfast, tea, or soups! Please note these handmade ceramic pieces are handmade & handpainted one by one & they are all different, that is the nature of a handcrafted piece.
