Original kinetic sculpture carved from wood with a miniature landscape oil painting. There are several variations, each with a different bird that flies over rolling water once the crank is turned. This flying kingfisher is a great gift for bird lovers, lovers of woodland scene paintings & those who love mechanical curios. Other birds may, or may not be in stock, please check each listing separately for availability. I have a small range of these bird boxes, but feel free to ask if you would like a custom bird & setting, or any other ideas for automatons. I'll let you know what's possible & give you a price. I find in the end most things are manageable when controlled with little bits of brass. But not children. Whilst each automaton is robustly made, the mechanism has small moving parts & the wood is finely carved in places so it is not suitable as a toy. Wall fittings included. Thanks for visiting my shop!
