All wooden parts are coming from responsibly managed forest certified by FSC. ◾️ Sanding: All wooden parts are sanded 3 times, to ensure the ease of use & varnishing process with softened corners & edges. ◾️ Varnish/Stain: Stöff uses "EN 71-3 safety for toys" certified water based stain on all products. There is no harmful chemicals on any product. Varnish is applied double times on every product to protect the wood from moisture, water, scratch & other external factors.
