Heavily embellished performance top, covered in meticulously hand sewn beads & sequins. Inside tag reads "O'Brien," indicating the name of the dancer that once owned & wore this piece. Sadly I do not have any further information about Miss O'Brein, or what kind of performance this was a part of! Based on construction & hardware, this piece is most likely from the 1940's-50's. This top was homemade, & shows signs of wear & age. There are a few patches of missing beading, some fraying, & other flaws.
