Description
This is a special porcelain vase from the Taurus collection (circa 1984) by the famous Dutch artist Jan Van Der Vaart for the renowned & significant German Rosenthal Company. The design of this vase is named Isika & the collection number is 4073/16 Nr. 66 which is stamped on the base of the vase along with 'Rosenthal studio-line' (part of the renowned Rosenthal Company). Jan Van Der Vaart (1931 - 2000) who was part of the Designers Guild won the prestigious Reddot award for the collection 'Taurus'. This vase has a vibrant blue, green & yellow glaze with gold detailing, the shape features complex geometric lines & organic curves. The vase is in perfect condition.
