This plaster cast was made using a mould taken from the ear of Michelangelo's David. The plaster sculpture has been handmade by sculptor & plaster cast maker Nicholas H Wood. David's ear plaster casts are often used by academic art schools as a subject for beginner artists to practice drawing & painting.
