Skirt 431. An ancient Russian skirt in absolutely perfect condition. Sewn from ancient calico produced by the Baraniv manufactory from the time of the Russian Empire. Skirts of this plan were traditionally decorated with an appliqué of fabric of a contrasting color on the bottom. Here it is a black fabric, & a curly appliqué from it. The skirt is in perfect condition, looks unworn. Waist up to 80 cm, length 67 cm.
