This is our beautiful "Teaberry" 100% wilderness wool Fisherman Style Hat. This exquisite wool is from the Falkland Islands where the sheep roam wild across undulating land. They are not dipped in chemicals nor do they suffer the painful method of mulesing. The wool is extremely soft & light. It is not itchy & non-static as it has zero acryllic properties in it. The label is made from cork which come's from the bark of an Cork Oak tree! The whole item can be disposed off in the compost or recyling without any worry that you are contributing to plastics in the oceans! It is a chunky wool knit & so is a thick hat, super for keeping your head cosy warm. It has extra length to ensure your ears can be covered when the wild winds blow. As it is 100% wool it will pill over time, but these can be trimmed off the good old fashioned way. Some of the great explorers from the Golden Age of Exploration wore wool from head to toe in the most hostile regions on our planet. Whilst we were living in the Falklands & working south of the Antarctic Convergence Zone we wore wool. & now, we wouldn't wear anything else on our heads.
