This metal cuff bracelet was created using a vintage 1953 map of Kansas City, Missouri . The map covers the area between Broadway & Grand along Baltimore & Main St. North to 6th St, South to Union Station & The Liberty Memorial. Some of the iconic buildings are Kay Motel, University Club, Red Cross, Rasbach Hotel, Aladdin Hotel, Municipal Auditorium, President Hotel, Orpheum Theatre, Puritan Hotel, & the Plaza Hotel to name a few. A wonderful gift for those who love Kansas City. My bracelets are created using a unique dye process that fuses the ink into the surface of the aluminum. The end result is a scratch resistant, waterproof, extremely durable, bracelet. No need for sticky resins or lacquers. SIZE - The bracelet measures - 1 1/2 inches wide & 6 1/2 inches around (17cm x 4cm) , making it ideal for both women & men. The size can be adjusted with slight pressure & will fit most wrists comfortably. Aluminum is hypoallergenic, lead & nickel free, won't tarnish or oxidize, & extremely lightweight. I use vintage maps. Occasionally, there will be areas of faded color, random spots, or faint fold lines.
