Sustainability For these earrings I only use second hand freshwater pearls that I find in thrift stores or flea markets. Info Brass is an alloy of zinc & copper & is therefore a very compatible jewelry material. Should it ever tarnish, a simple metal polish is all that is needed to bring it back to a high shine.
