Its fine & simple shape make it a pleasure to hold in your hands. It is perfect for hot or cold coffee or tea, & even wine or a chilled beer on a hot summers evening. It is made from a red terracotta clay & partially glazed with a smooth, matte black glaze. I glazed only the inside & part of the outside of the tumbler because I wanted to expose the beautiful rustic look of the natural clay. The colors blend so beautifully! I have recently added to my shop sage green tumblers made from a gray speckled clay. You can see them in the last image & in more detail in the link below. This item is made from ceramic stoneware & is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit). It is glazed with lead-free & food safe glazes & is ideal for use in the oven & microwave but not over an open flame. It is dishwasher safe. If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
